On 9 April 2025, we hosted a webinar to officially launch the Emulate3D 2025 V18 software release — the most advanced version of the platform to date.
The session took attendees through the major new features and improvements designed to support simulation users, digital engineers, and automation professionals.
Key updates included:
-
Enhanced Unreal Engine visualisation for improved graphics and responsiveness
-
Introduction of Git-based version control to streamline collaborative model development
-
A new Test Runner Framework for automating simulation testing and reporting
-
Expanded integration with NVIDIA Omniverse and support for multi-model workflows
-
Significant performance improvements across all tools
-
A revamped user forum for easier access to community support and shared knowledge
A key announcement during the launch was the introduction of a new naming convention across the Emulate3D product suite:
-
Emulate3D Simulator (formerly Sim3D)
-
Emulate3D Demonstrator (formerly Demo3D)
-
Emulate3D Ultimate (formerly Emulate3D)
The updated names make it easier to identify each product’s core purpose while unifying the suite under the Emulate3D brand.
The Emulate3D 2025 V18 release delivered meaningful improvements in usability, performance, and visualisation, making it a major step forward for users across a wide range of industries.
